Mission

Mission:  The educational mission of North Aiken Elementary is to provide each student with instruction using best practices based on scientific research through a challenging curriculum to assist in the development of mind, character, and overall well being; while actively welcoming and encouraging parent and community involvement in the education of our children.

Beliefs: We believe...
Each child can learn.
Learning is a life-long process.
Children are naturally curious and want to learn.
Parents are important to the education of their children.
Cultural diversity contributes positively to society.
Schools should provide a challenging academic curriculum.
Adequate funding should provide for all educational purposes.
Life skills and positive character traits are essentials to becoming a productive citizen of the community.
Schools should positively reflect the community in which they reside.

Vision Statement: As educators, parents, and community citizens, we envision a school where each student becomes a life-long learner and contributing member of society.  To this end, we will provide an environment where community members, parents, and educators work cooperatively to provide a safe, nurturing environment emphasizing the need to enhance individual character where cultural diversity and individual rights are respected.

School Pledge

I will try my best and never give up.
I will make good choices and respect everyone.
