Mrs. Wilkin

It is great to see everyone again and see families who have chosen to attend Gloverville Elementary School for another wonderful exciting year. Mrs. Amy Wilkin is one of the second grade teachers here at Gloverville Elementary School. This is her 6th year at Gloverville Elementary teaching Early Childhood Education. Amy just turned 34 years old on July 29th. She has three babies, one dog and two cats. Amy has no children of her own yet, so for the time being her children are the children who attend Gloverville Elementary School. Amy just received her Masters in Education this summer from Southern Wesleyan University and is thankful to have accomplished that obstacle with the help of her husband Matt Wilkin, Mrs. Petersen, and Mrs. Tanton. Mrs. Wilkin said that it took her 5 colleges bouncing around changing majors to find out what she was called to do. Mrs. Wilkin is proud to say kids in general are the greatest creation to society. Mrs. Wilkin creates a learning atmosphere to help her students learn to be confident, caring, choose to make right choices, and build friendships to help make our world a better place. Mrs. Wilkin agrees Gloverville is a great place for this vision to happen because we are small caring family community. Mrs. Wilkin urges if we as teachers, parents, staff, and students work together as a team, we can succeed at anything! Let’s have a great 2010-2011 school year.
