My purpose at New
Ellenton Middle
School is to support the mission of our
school. I am here to create a safe, nurturing learning environment while
following four program components of a comprehensive school counseling
program.
*Guidance Curriculum-structured experiences presented through classroom and
small group activities that focus on personal/social, academic, and career
development
*Individual Planning-Personal/social, academic, career planning and goal
setting
*Responsive Services-prevention and intervention activities that address
academic, school-related, or personal concerns.
*System support-activates that maintain and enhance the total program,
including teacher and administrator consultation, parent education,
community outreach, and public relations
Students may request counseling services by signing up in the main office.
Parents may also request individual or group counseling services by
contacting Ms. Kearse. All information is kept confidential unless
disclosure is required by law to prevent danger to the counselee or others.
