Silver Bluff has a reputation for state dominance in athletics and co-curricular areas, such as NJROTC, Marching Band, and Key Club.

  • NJROTC state champs in 08-09 and 17th in the nation

  • Key club awarded the INTERNATIONAL "Diamond Level" designating it as a top 10 international club

  • Silver Spirit Marching Band State 2A Champions in 1997, 1998, 2005 and 2007.

  • Twenty-nine state championships in thirty years of existence in athletics

  • First school in Aiken County to establish a Freshman Academy to assist 9th graders with their transition to high school

  • Led the county in 9th grade testing in 2009

  • In the last six years, three EXCELLENT and three GOOD ratings on the state report card

  • Variety of Advanced Placement opportunities, with triple enrollment in 2008-2009 and plans for expanded future options
