Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome back to another exciting year of learning at Millbrook Elementary!

I look forward to another year of academic accomplishments by our children.  We are very proud to have achieved AYP status under the No Child Left Behind legislation and for being awarded the Red Carpet Award by the State Department of Education for our family friendly school environment. In addition, fifteen of our teachers have received Savannah River Nuclear Site science and math grants to enhance instruction.  We have also received a $5,000 grant from Lowes to update our ecology lab.  I am very proud of how committed our teachers are to innovative teaching practices here at Millbrook!

We encourage all parents to be active in supporting the educational processes of learning and to be a part of our family at Millbrook Elementary. We look forward to another successful and rewarding year with your children.
