Sick? Absent from school? Needing Make Up work?

Assignments may be obtained in the following ways when school has been missed:
Absence of 1-3 days - Please access Schoolnotes .com or call a classmate to gather assignment information
Absence of 4 or more days - Please call the school to request assignments. Assignments will be ready in office within 48 hours for pick up. If you do not have internet access, please call the school office and we will make hard copies of Schoolnotes page(s) for you to have.

Please know that we will work with your child and you to make up work missed due to absence. Students will have the same number of days as missed to make up work.

Early Dismissal: 1:15 on assigned days

After School Detention
Students are expected to remain for assigned ASD unless arrangements have been made through the assigning teacher or administration prior to the detention date. When a student misses ASD, one day of ISS will be assigned for the first offense and OSS will be assigned for subsequent offenses. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Dress Code Violations
Please review the following dress code violation procedures:
Dress violations, including "baggy pants" /exposure of any garment under pants
1st violation - ---Phone call to parent - remainder of day in ISS OR parent comes to school immediately for conference OR parent agrees to come in with child the next morning--- (parent has choice of option (s)
2nd violation ---Phone call to parent - remainder of day in ISS and next day ISS--- parent must return with student for conference before student can return to regular classes 
3rd violation --- Phone call to parent - remainder of day in ISS - next day OSS -parent must return to school for conference before student can return to regular classes
4th violation --- Parent must pick student up from school immediately--student recommended for 20 day alternative program which requires night meeting with Area 2 Council---student is suspended until council meeting

Students who walk or are car riders are to visit their lockers and report to the car rider area or leave campus to go home promptly at dismissal.
Students who ride on buses are to visit their lockers and return to their 7th period class to wait for their bus to be called.

On days scheduled as Districtwide Early Release days we will follow the schedule announced. Students will be dismissed at 1:15 pm.


All students were given an agenda at the beginning of the school year with a student handbook in the front. Please take a little time to review this very important information. Any neccessary updates and changes will be provided through announcements, the school newsletter, and on this website. Students were also given a copy of the Aiken County Student Code of Conduct at the beginning of the school year or upon enrollment (for new students arriving after the school year begins).
