Oakwood-Windsor PTO Meetings
OWES….Raising Readers and Leaders

Parents, teachers and students,

I am real excited about this year!! Already, the PTO has gotten Coach
Cauley a new parachute for her classes, we have bought new walkie talkies for
those teachers at recess to use in case of emergency and made a few upgrades
around the school! Our next goals are to purchase new mats for the school
entrances and work on the grounds around the play area.

Thanks for all of your support with the school T-shirts!!! We hope to be
able to place another order after the first of the year for those of you
who could not order this time. Thanks also for those of you bringing in
your labels for Sunny-D and Tyson. Please note that on the Campbell Soup and
Box Tops we just need the bar code area. Please keep bringing these in to
help with school improvement.

We have a new fundraiser coming up and believe me, this is going to be a
fun one! Y-ties!!!! They are the neatest things and I can't wait to send
out the information on this in the next week or two. Please help us to make
this fundraiser a huge success!!

We hope to make this a year to remember with our events and fundraisers!!!
If you have any questions, suggestions or advice, we hold open informal
meetings the third Friday of each month at 1pm in the PTO room. Also we
love volunteers!!!! Please contact me, Kelli Taylor at 443-1347 or 641-6871
or Melissa Coleman at 617-9427 if you would like to volunteer at upcoming
events.
