NAMS studies China

On Wednesday November 3, North Augusta Middle School 6th grade students were engaged in an interdisciplinary unit about China. Students were involved in various activities throughout their core classes. Some activities that the students were able to participate in was the discovery of ancient Chinese inventions, Chinese folktales, eating with chopsticks, martial art character sketches, and working on tangrams, an ancient game that originated in China. The students also learned that fortune cookies did not originate in China. They are a US invention.
