of 2011 Summer Graduation

The Aiken County
Class of 2011 now has 12 more graduates to add to the list.
Aiken County celebrated the success of summer school graduates
from Midland Valley (2), Aiken (6), North Augusta (2), Silver
Bluff (1), and Wagener-Salley (1) during a ceremony at Midland
Valley High recently. The event included a personalized version
of "Lazy" by Joseph Clark Richardson, an Aiken High
graduate. Diplomas were presented by Isaiah Mealing, director
of MVH summer site, and Ute Aatland, director of the Aiken High
summer site. Dr. Elizabeth Everitt, Janice Kitchings, and Dr.
Randy Stowe were on hand to congratulate the students as well.
