Spaghetti Night at Wagener-Salley High School

Feb 22, 2011 was Parent Spaghetti Night at Wagener-Salley High
School. Teachers and students of the WSHS Dual Academy put together
the dinner and presentations in an effort to promote parental
involvement and to help parents understand with what their children
face in a typical school year as a 9th or 10th grader. Presentations
included testimony from students, teachers and administration,
all with a focus on how parents can get more involved in a team
effort to promote student success. Parents were encouraged to
login to USATestprep and Moodle at the computer station or pick
up testing data and tips for success at the data tables. The
message of the evening was clear: we must unite as a team (parents,
students and teachers) in order to ensure that we are providing
our children with the best possible opportunity for success.
