Congratulations
Graduating Class of 2011!!!!
Aiken
County graduates have much to boast about after another remarkable
school year. The collective group of over 1430 graduates from
seven high schools earned a record breaking $38,273,152 in
college scholarships. This staggering amount exceeds last
year’s total by $1.2 million.
“Our
dedicated educators and guidance counselors are to be commended
for their efforts to secure monies for seniors with hopes
of attending college. This is another example of what can
be accomplished when students and staff share a common goal…success
in the classroom and beyond,” states Dr. Elizabeth Everitt,
Superintendent of Schools.
We
wish to also acknowledge the accomplishments of students enrolled
in our Career and Technology Center and Adult Education program.
