Step
One: The Complete File

A
complete file must be registered with the Department of Personnel
Services. A complete file consists of the following:

Two: Preliminary Screening Interview

All
certified applicants will complete the preliminary screening
interview process before being referred for a teaching position.
All applicants are asked education related questions by a
team of three administrators. This process usually takes thirty
minutes.
Step
Three: Employment Opportunities
- Referral
for specific positions will be done through the Department
of Personnel Services
Step
Four: Area Level Interview
After
interviewing at the school level, the principal will recommend
the successful applicant to the next interview level, the Area
Assistant Superintendent.
Step Five: Assistant Superintendent for Administration
- The principal
or supervisor will send a written notification of selection
to all applicants interviewed.
Applications will be kept on file for one year. To remain
an active applicant, an updated application must be submitted
to the Department of Personnel Services. Inactive files
are purged on a yearly basis.
