Support Information

Each
school has an individual that has been designated by the Technology
Department to serve as the Technology Contact Person. This individual
serves multiple schools within each of the five areas of the
Aiken School District.
If any faculty or staff within a school has a technology service
problem that cannot be resolved by an on-site staff or faculty
member and need further assistance, they are directed to their
schools Technology Specialist. |

In
many instances, schools may have a contact within the school
that assists with resolving problems immediately. In other cases,
schools report requests to the Technology Specialist assigned
to their school. These requests are usually issued on a work
order form that is filed in a central location designated by
the school. The priority order for all current requests is determined
by the district technology support staff during visits to the
school site unless otherwise designated by the technology department,
the school or the area administration. |
