Aiken Council of the International Reading Association (ACIRA)

Mission: Chartered in 1973, the Aiken Council of the International Reading Association is a professional organization for those individuals interested in promoting quality literacy instruction throughout the community.

ACCTM: Aiken County (SC) Council of Teachers of Mathematics

Mission: The mission of the ACCTM is to support mathematics education professionals in Aiken County, South Carolina.

Fall 2009 Newsletter

Purpose:
1. To encourage interest in mathematics and to improve the teaching of mathematics K-16.
2. To encourage and provide an exchange of ideas and materials among teachers of mathematics.
3. To encourage Aiken County teachers to participate in SCCTM and NCTM.
4. To encourage Aiken County teachers to use the resources of the RPSEC.
